Child Advocates

Child Advocates, Inc. mobilizes court appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse, and speaks up for abused children who are lost in the system and guides them into safe environments where they can thrive.

DePelchin Children’s Center

DePelchin Children’s Center

DePelchin Children’s Center is the leading not-for-profit center in Texas for children’s well-being, with a focus on mental health, foster care and adoption services. For more than 120 years, DePelchin has been turning lives around with comprehensive care for children, including psychiatric services, counseling, programs for at-risk youths, parent education, residential treatment, foster care and adoption.


Devereux Texas

Devereux is a national non-profit organization that provides services for people with emotional, developmental and educational disabilities. As a member of the Devereux Texas Advisory Board, MRE supports Devereux through events such as golf tournaments, galas and graduation ceremonies. MRE and its employees have together provided more than $75,000 to this cause.


CYCLE is a children’s charity that rewards students with new bicycles for achieving better academic performance in the classroom. They are dedicated to improving literacy in Grades K – 3 in Title One schools in the Greater Houston area.

Houston Dynamo 2014 Corporate Cup

Houston Dynamo Corporate Cup

Corporate Cup allows corporate teams around the greater Houston area to compete in a soccer tournament and raise funds for charity. Proceeds will benefit Houston Methodist Cancer Center, with additional prizes for the companies that fundraise the most.

Houston Food Bank

Houston Food Bank

The Houston Food Bank is a non-profit organization that collects and distributes food to hunger relief charities. Food usually comes from various sources in the food industry, like grocery stores and wholesalers that have thousands of pounds of food to give away – food that could otherwise be thrown away. They warehouse the food, and with help from volunteers, sort, pack and re-distribute it to the community.

Memorial Park Conservancy

Memorial Park Conservancy

Through sustained leadership, meaningful investment and strategic efforts, Memorial Park Conservancy, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, protects, restores and preserves Memorial Park for the enjoyment of all Houstonians, today and tomorrow. They work in collaboration with the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.


MS 150

The MS 150 is a two-day bike ride from Houston to Austin that supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Each year, more than 20,000 riders make this journey with the goal of increasing MS awareness and raising funds for medical research to cure this disease. MRE has sponsored a cycling team since 2003 and has raised more than $1,700,000 to benefit this cause.


Ronald McDonald House

A “home-away-from-home” to keep parents and children together. Houston’s Ronald McDonald House offers loving, home-like environments for families with children who are seriously ill.

Texas Childrens Hospital

Texas Children’s Hospital

Texas Children’s Hospital, located in Houston, Texas, is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to create a healthier future for children and women throughout a global community by leading in patient care, education and research.

The Salvation Army

Dedicated to Doing The Most Good, The Salvation Army Greater Houston Area Command serves Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties through various programs and services intended to meet human needs without discrimination.
