MRE Consulting, a Houston-based professional services firm, served as the race’s main sponsor. “The Child Advocates Superhero Run offered a really fun and unique opportunity to get involved with an often overlooked cause,” said Dru Neikirk, vice president of MRE, who participated in the 5k event. More than 50 runners registered as part of the company’s official team, and MRE employees were also among the more than one hundred volunteers who helped make the day a success.
